Abstract

This work deals with the processes of micro-urbanism, specifically addressing public policies and its effects on society and social micro-processes, introducing them in a context of deep political crises that demands the requalification of our systems of representation and the participation of communities and individuals. Analyzing theoretical studies and mapping examples of interventions we'll seek to highlight forms of urban processes from the perspective of the social involvement they mobilize, using examples in the world, with a focus on the province of Quebec in Canada and on the state of São Paulo, in Brazil. From these studies, we'll be able to identify means of city planning that compromise the various layers of cities, making them more accessible, coordinated and structured. (AU)
