Abstract

This Postdoctoral Project aims to be able to fulfill a methodological procedure we have initiated in our doctorate research (PITTA, 2016): a critique of capitalist sociability through the point of view of its concrete totality (LUKÁCS, 2012 e SCHOLZ, 2009) of its fundamental contradictions as commodity form in historical process (MARX, 1983 e POSTONE, 2014). We here propose to present this procedure with an article written in Portuguese and translated by us into English, French and German, also with the intention to publish them, in different scientific journals, on these four languages. We also plan to take part in national and international seminars intending to submit our critical formulations to the scrutiny of the scientific community. The content of the articles will relate the discoveries in our doctorate research on transformations in the form of fictitious capital reproduction in the sugarcane agroindustry, in São Paulo state, with Marxist formulations on capital immanent crisis and its economic crisis of 2007/2008: Foster e Magdoff (2009), Harvey (2011), Belluzzo (2012) e Kliman (2012). In our doctorate we argue that São Paulo's sugarcane agroindustry space production to the west, in the XXIst century, was determined by sugar asset inflation in speculative international future markets (PITTA, 2016) which produced the sugarcane cutting mechanization and the expulsion of productive labor in absolute numbers from the sugarcane productive process. We conclude that this process implied in a fictitious and unproductive production (in the terms of value valorization) of the space (PITTA, 2016). This fictitious and unproductive production of the space will be used by us to critically approach the already mentioned authors in their formulations on the immanent crisis of capital and the ways they suggest to transcend it.
