Abstract

This research intends to inquire the ontogenesis of attachment. It points up the advances in Developmental Psychology in the last decades, mostly provided by incorporation of technological resources to investigation. This fact is extremely important in reference of newborn development, especially the development of expressivity and affection, in reason that investigate these aspects demand the seizure of subtle signs. A lot of researches describe data about newborn cognitive capacities contrasting with the provided by Bowlby in the 60'. This data allows to say that the five requirements to attachment appearance (capacity to discriminate visual and discern voices, capacity of imitation, capacity to construct expectations about peers interactions and the capacity to recognize that a person exists without seeing it) develops before the period that Bowlby pointed up. As a result of this fact, the hypothesis is that the baby's attachment behavior can be observed before the period purposed by Bowlby (six months). This survey will be grounded in the perspective of the "Meaning Network". Follow up the co-construction process of attachment relationship between mother and baby through microgenetic analysis. (AU)
