Abstract

The research project intends to investigate the artistic practice within the academic institutions, specifying the relationship between the poetic construction of the artist / teacher and the understanding of the creative act in the context of the author herself, taking the criticism genetic as main theoretical basis.The work is proposed to be developed in the city of Lisbon, approaching the researches developed in Cieba - Centre for Research and Studies in Fine Arts, University of Lisbon and in the grAVA - Research Group of Visual and Audiovisual Arts (FAAC / UNESP) , at the promote the exchange of experiences on the creative act in the visual arts.It is intended to associate the working methodology of teacher of his artistic production. In theoretical and practical approach, the objective is to deepen and organize thoughts about do and do/ understand, having in the Portuguese city the object for the investigations, in a context in which the poetics will also awakens as an experiences mapping.The object of study aims to ascertain research methods, fueled in traffic continuum between experimentation and questioning, content which cover not only the experience as an artist and researcher, greater understanding of art making, which is also part of the experience as a teacher.
