Abstract

The research aims to analyze the environmental fragility and susceptibility to erosion in the rural municipality of Alvares Machado, located in the west of São Paulo. Therefore, the method adopted recognizes and characterizes the environmental attributes of the city depending on the features of the bedrock, of landforms, soil types and categories of use and occupation of land.
