Abstract

Part of the Literature about the Brazilian's first democratic experience was concerned mostly to answer which traces remained of the Brazil's Estado Novo and what mechanisms favored the emergence of a military regime than to treat in its entirety about the operation of the period, especially in regarding parliamentary behavior. This project aims to bring new information about how the parliamentary behavior occurs focusing through an empirical analysis of them policies held by these political actors, given that the traditional literature of the Brazil's Third Republic often assumes the existence of an individualistic conduct of these political actors. For this purpose, this project will use as the object of analysis the Bills submitted by deputies throughout the period of the Third Republic. For the analysis, this project will use the method of classification of laws according to the general effect, territorial impact and federative unity of the parliamentarian. (AU)
