Abstract

The temporal patterns of species of functional groups (deciduous, semideciduous, evergreen) and their variation over the years will be studied, comparing these patterns with soil observations and spectral pattern of the leaves. The preliminary study by Alberton et al. (2014) showed it is possible to detect leaf change variation in functional groups of species. The student will test this prediction for several species and years of study and validate them with on-the-ground observation data. (AU)
