Abstract

The current landscape of cervical cancer in public health permeates strategically to prevention from vaccine anti-HPV and screening gynecological exams. Acts that these tend to reduce incidence and increase early diagnosis and curative therapy rates. Cervical cancer is of paramount importance to health of adult women in Brazil due to the wide disparity in the access to public health and despite the introduction of the vaccine in the official calendar, is expected to reduce the incidence only in the coming decades. The diagnosis is often made in advanced stages, so this scientific project aims to evaluate a more vulnerable and with worse prognosis group: women affected by cervical cancer with exclusive metastatic of para aortic lymph node involvement (LNPA).It is, then, a retrospective, single-center, which will evaluate from treatment (patients treated locally vs. no local treatment): overall survival and progression-free, global health, acute and late toxicities due to the treatment, in addition, the clinical and epidemiological description of this group. They will be assessed the medical records of women with cervical cancer diagnoses with compromised LNPA who were treated in ICESP from May 2008 to May 2015. (AU)
