Abstract

The research conducted by the SPRACE group articulates experimental and theoretical aspects of high-energy heavy ion physics. The Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamic code (SPheRio), which includes fluctuations of the QGP initial state, as developed by a Brazilian group, will be incorporated into the CMS framework to better describe the particle evolution in these collisions. The student should provide this insertion into the HydJet code, the event simulator currently used in CMS. After this implementation, the new code should be used in simulations and compared with experimental data on particle correlations. (AU)
