Abstract Through experiments involving condensate of alkaline atom (87)Rb[3,4] and the mixture of two atomic species , (23)Na and (41)K, we observed the presence of vortices and turbulence. Aiming to give support to our experimental research group, the present work has the intention of exploring certain characteristics of the atomic cloud in the quantum regime. We consider two Bose-Einstein condensates, spatially superimposed, in order to analyze the effects of the interaction between these species in the presence of vortices. The meaningful imbalance between the number of atoms of the two species allow us to extract analytical solution for the coupled Gross-Pitaevskii (GPE) equations. Along with numerical simulations of GPE, this solution will be used to study the dynamical properties and the thermodynamic equilibrium of the composed system. (AU) | |
