Abstract

In the period of globalization, information technologies play a remarkable role as essential components of productive activities, significantly altering the dynamics of geographic space, economy, society and politics. In this context, large companies that produce software as a service stand out. To operate such applications, only a device with Internet connection is required. Given the rapid diffusion of telematic networks and the capillarization of informational objects, we propose, in this project, to investigate the dynamics of production of this kind of software and its penetration in the Brazilian territory. They are based both on a technical and on a normative bases, which follow the diffusion of Internet access infrastructures and depend on regulatory nexuses that emerge mainly from the State and the companies actions.
