Abstract

This project proposes post-doctoral training at the School of Theater and Cinema (ESTC) / Instituto Politécncio de Lisboa (located in Amadora, Portugal), in the field of performing arts, specifically in the area of the actor. Its aim is to deepen research on the actor, the awareness of himself and the relationship, the theatrical language that he has, the dramaturgy of the actor, with theoretical bases such as mime, physical theater, body awareness and psychodrama, to enhance the Quality of communication of the actor's body in scene.The choice of the time and the ESTC to do this postdoctoral stage, with which I coordinate an agreement, is given the opportunity to have teachers that can be interlocuted, practical and theoretical, compatible with my area of research. With the supervision of a theoretical teacher, a practical research will be done with another professor of the corporal area (Professor Doctor Luca Aprea), with a theatrical assembly and a theoretical reflection. A bibliographic update will also be made focused on the mime, the physical theater and the corporal consciousness of the actor.In addition, the objective of the research is to provide theoretical and practical subsidies for courses taught in undergraduate and postgraduate courses at ECA-USP, thus contributing to the studies of the Performing Arts and, in particular, to the studies of the actor .The period proposed for the postdoctoral stage comprises the months of April 2017 to December 2017.
