Abstract

The objective is to compare the use of time, the occupational roles and the purchasing power of working women with and without children, from an occupational perspective. Method: This is a survey type correlation survey. The instruments of data collection will be an Activity Journal, Brazil's Economic Classification Criteria (CCEB), QWLQ-bref, Occupational Identification List and semi-structured interview. The data will be analyzed quantitatively through correlation tests and qualitatively through "thematic content analysis" in order to reflect, from an occupational perspective, the main occupations and occupational roles played by these women, and the meaning they attribute to them. The results are expected to provide data on the use of time, purchasing power, routine organization, and occupations performed by working women, and that the findings will lay the groundwork for changes or creations of public policies and programs that favor women and the family.
