Abstract

As it appears in the title, the main objective of my research project is to reflect on the relationship between justice and forgiveness, especially from the logic of forgiveness seized as a fair distance between oblivion and revenge. A fundamental assumption is the fact that the relationship between justice and forgiveness is partly based on suffering, on pain, which is shared with others. The research also aims to reflect on the relevance of the contribution of Christian tradition to this debate from the idea of rehabilitation present both in the sphere of justice and in the logic of forgiveness.
