Abstract

The present work has as objective analysis of data in flows in a plunging jet system - the size distribution and the penetration depth of the bubbles. Experiments with high-speed video recording will be performed using the shadow sizing technique. Afterwards, some metologies will be applied for image processing - hough transform, watershed, ellipse fitting. Finally, the data obtained will be compared with those presented in the literature. (AU)
