Abstract

The proposed project focuses on the study of laminated anisotropic Kirchhoff's plates, subjected to the stretching-bending coupling, via the Boundary Element Method. Kirchhoff's plates are essential elements for structural analysis. The main objective is the construction of a Boundary Element code for the coupled stretching-bending static analysis of thin laminated plates. We present on following the problem formulation as well the objectives, methodology and the time table. (AU)
