Management of children care at the Botucatu School Health Center: their determinants and influences on pediatric care

Abstract

Childcare today plays an important role in child health care, since competent, insightful pediatrics with social and psychological sensitivity can make a very important difference to the future of your patient. The researchers intend to study the correlation between these data collected and the influences of the other health services available in the municipality for pediatric care. The theoretical reference for the study will be the calendar of care recommended by the Ministry of Health of Brazil. It will be analyzed all the consultations performed in children under two years of age in the Pediatric Sector of the School of Health - Unit of the Village of the Farmers (CSE-UVL), identifying age of onset of follow-up, type of consultation (Nurse or doctor), BCG vaccination (Local), first nursing and medical consultation (CSE or Clínica do Bebê), the number of care in the Infant Emergency Room (PSI), and the date and period of the same. About 200 children, born in 2015 and 2016 (up to 2 years of age during the study period) will be included and will be attended from January 2016 to January 2017.Inclusion Criteria: - Infants and Children Preschoolers up to two (02) full years, who had at least one pediatric medical service at the outpatient clinic at the CSE-UVL, during the period from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016. The Identification of these children will be given by the Information System of the CSE-UVL and later by the Information System of the Hospital das Clínicas de Botucatu (data collection of consultations conducted in the Infant Emergency Room).
