Abstract

This project intends to perform a theoretical and practical research into the specificities of a contextual dance work which has as theme walking in the city as a dancing action and aesthetics practice, investigating both the lack and the presence of places to dance in Paulínia. From the study of specific bibliography and other linked materials, as well as the realization of periodic field laboratories in this city, we also intend to create a free dancing tour or andança guiada as a device to inquire how the transformative potential of dance occurs in the routines of the citizen-body inhabiting the urban space.
