Abstract

Product innovation can be described by three phases: the idea formulation, product development and production scale. These stages are part of several technology transfer processes, with the participation of various factors and barriers. The areas studied will be pasture located near the Federal University of São Carlos, Sorocaba campus; Coordination of Integral Technical Assistance (CATI), Manduri, SP and Agribusiness Technology Paulista Agency (APTA), Brotas, SP., aiming to help the thematic project approved by FAPESP entitled "Environmental effects of the pasture-sugarcane conversion and pasture intensification". This project will be evaluated the best options for technology transfer being developed in two phases: a) literature review for planning the technology transfer, development of support elements and evaluation to confirm the developed concepts to further implement the second phase: b) transfer of technology in development. Among the principal products are expected: show the state of the art of technological evolution of rural areas, as they will have mechanisms for identifying, assessing and planning their situation in terms of technology for the project, ensuring the transfer of knowledge in the use of tried and tested technologies.
