The aim of this study was to evaluate the accuracy and reliability of the pulp chamber and root canal volumes in images obtained by Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (TCFC) and calculated using 02 softwares: a free, ITK-Snap® (Kitware, New York, USA) and paid, Ondemand3D® (CyberMed, Seoul, Republic of Korea), as a new tool in sexual prediction and estimation of the chronological age of Brazilian individuals, performing. Additionally, a comparison will be made between these, in order to observe a statistically significant difference between their performances. 1000 CFCT exams will be selected in 05 geographic regions of Brazil, subdivided according to the proportions of the population, sex, age and race in each of the regions1, following values from IBGE data. The images will belong to files of clinics, referring to the geographical regions, being obtained in the same parameter. They will be exported to the 02 softwares, where the segmentations of the pulp spaces will be performed by a radiologist. The data will be submitted to statistical analysis, to verify possible significant differences in the values between the different sexes and between the software using the t test, as well as through the logistic regression analysis will be carried out the selection of the measures with greater capacity for sexual prediction and Estimation of chronological age.
