Abstract

The Critique of Pure Reason, in the Appendix to the Transcendental Analytic, presents the concept of the transcendental reflection as a comparison between the representations in general with the faculty of the knowledge, in which the representations are contained: sensibility or understanding. The commentators of this text disagree of the importance that he should has and of the importance of the concept of transcendental reflection. Some commentators consider the Appendix as only a moment of the formation of the concepts and judgments; others commentators consider this text central to the critical project. Our project of research propose the investigation about the concept of transcendental reflection through of the study of the sources of knowledge. We divide the investigation in three moments through of two methodological conditions: (i) the study of the sources of the knowledge, (ii) the study about the relation of these sources in the formation of the knowledge and (iii) the study of the concept of transcendental reflection. Our hypothesis is that we can to comprehend the function of the concept of transcendental reflection on Critique of pure reason through of a detailed study of the sources of knowledge. (AU)
