Abstract

PROPOSAL: To research the application of building information modeling for urban infrastructure in the context of university campus, focusing on how integrated projects delivery can respond to demands for resilient infrastructure. To research capabilities of information modeling technologies aimed at the project design of urban infrastructure and experimentally apply modeling technologies in Infrastructure and Paving Execution Project of infrastructure and paving of 11th street and south access of the campus 2 - USP São CarlosMETHOD OF RESEARCH / APPROACHES: Bibliographic studies about infrastructure building information modeling (I-BIM) and integrated project delivery. Experimental studies about information modeling technologies applied to urban infrastructure of university campus. Research about resilience criteria for urban infrastructure projects.RESULTS: Develop an analysis of information modeling and integrated project for urban infrastructure of universities campus in the light of infrastructure resilience criteria. CONTRIBUTIONS / ORIGINALITY: The sustainable development of urban infrastructure is a subject with global relevance and brings the construction industry to focus. This work proposes, on an exploratory basis, to investigate the possibilities of building information modeling technologies that can support and give responses to demands for sustainability in the construction and urban infrastructure operation. In terms of infrastructure, a university campus can be understood as a small city and can be used as an experiment of information modeling to analyze project demands related to quality, economy and sustainability.
