Abstract

This research aim is to evaluate the environmental performance of an industrial company in the Telecommunications sector productive process through the application of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) with a gate-to-gate approach. From a case study in an industrial company will be carried out the LCA of the manufacturing stage of a Telecommunications product. Based on the results, environmental improvements will be proposed in the productive process under analysis through the elaboration of scenarios. It is hoped, therefore, to increase the sustainability and competitiveness of the Telecommunications sector in the Brazilian and international market. (AU)
