Abstract

This research project aims to evaluate the operational performance and economic performance of an industrial company in the Telecommunications sector productive process. For this, a case study will be carried out in a company of this productive sector. In this study, on-site visits will be carried out at the company to explore the manufacturing environment, conduct interviews, analyze documents and collect data on the productive process under study. Then, a modeling and simulation of the production process will be carried out using the Siemens TecnomatixTM, aiming to evaluate the operational performance and the economic performance of this production process. These empirical results will serve as a basis for the improvement of this and other similar productive processes, aiming to increase the competitiveness of the Telecommunications sector in the Brazilian and international markets.
