Abstract The effects of frustration in magnetic systems with continuous symmetry lead to a large variety of physical phenomena, ranging from non-collinear magnetic order to the absence of long-range order. In this project, we will study how the competition between magnetic exchange couplings generates a phase transition at finite temperatures in two-dimensions. We are also interested in the fate of this unusual transition in the presence of disorder. (AU) | |
