Abstract

This research project, which is to be developed in the doctorate degree in Education at Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), aims to identify, analyze and understand the interinstitutional conceptions and practices between Public Prosecutor, Public Defender, Judiciary, Public Security and coordination of the Socioeducational System about the functioning of the initial assistance to adolescents who is attributed the authorship of an infraction to, between the years 2001 and 2016, in the city of São Carlos (SP). Moreover, it aims to develop pedagogical subsidies that collaborate with the social redirection of adolescents. Thus, what is proposed is to unveil the research problem, which is identified by the following guiding questions: what are the interinstitutional conceptions and practices of the Socioeducational System for the functioning of the initial assistance to the adolescents involved with an infraction, and what are their possibilities of effecting rights, duties and social integration? From the methodological point of view, the research will have bibliographic, documentary and field profile, in order to produce a content analysis. In addition to this, the instruments and procedures in data collect, of qualitative character, are configured as follows: a) review in the literature of the human and social sciences about Socioeducational System and infraction; b) analysis of plans and projects on the operation of the public services in the city of São Carlos (SP); c) interviews with members who implemented the Núcleo de Atendimento Integrado (NAI) in São Carlos, and those who integrated the institutions of the Socioeducational System between 2001 and 2016: promoter of justice, judge, police chief, public defender and also an interview about this subject with the current president of the Socioeducational System of São Paulo. The bibliographical research will subsidize the understandings of the phenomenon to be studied in order to identify the contributions that the production of the education area can bring to the process of analysis of the collected data.
