Abstract

Due to the intense use of agrochemicals in the region of Pontal of Paranapanema, located in the west of the state of São Paulo, financed by agribusiness in order to increase productivity, it is intended to make an analysis of the physical and chemical characteristics of materials (sediments) deposited in beds and alluvial deposits sugarcane areas. After the material is collected, the granulometric analysis will be done in the laboratory to identify the possible contaminants indicated in the river basin. Thus, from the analysis, the results generated will be interpreted according to the historicity of the land use and occupation of the region. (AU)
