Abstract

This is a research project associated to a work that will lead to Master Degree in which we want to deep our understand of finite quantum many-body systems. Quantum dots allow the study of bidimensional systems that show discrete energy levels with an structure similar to that one of an atom which exibits shell structure and magic numbers. We want to analyse electron pairs correlations and estimate variations of the electrochimical potential as a function of the number of electrons in the quantum dot. (AU)
