Study of the syndrome hepatorrenal in the cirrhosis resulting from the atresia biliar: experimental model in young mice

Abstract

Bile duct atresia (BVA) is characterized by the absence or obstruction of the bile ducts in newborns and neonates, which results in interruption of biliary flow; Being the main indication for infant liver transplantation. The pathogenesis is still unknown, being studied. The main consequence of the disease is cirrhosis, which is capable of influencing several systems, including the renal causing hepatorenal syndrome. Thus, the objective of this project is to verify the biochemical and histopathological changes in the renal system of the cirrhosis model by obstruction of the common bile duct in newly weaned rats, simulating the AVB. The methods and materials used permeate the experimental surgical activity: with the animals anesthetized with ketamine hydrochloride (Ketalar®) and Isoflurane (Isothane®), a double ligation of the common bile duct is performed using Mononylon 6.0, after which there is a section between The two bandages, then the closure of the abdomen is performed with Mononylon 4.0 with single suture continuous suture, then the animals will recover with the use of sodium dipyrone. The results will be verified by: histological analyzes of the kidney and liver, using hematoxylin-eosin, picrosyrius staining and optical microscopy; Dosage of urea and creatinine in the blood; Statistical analysis, with the following tests: ANOVA- "one way") Tukey, Kruskal-Wallis and Dunn.
