Abstract

The focus of the research project are two Spanish collections published respectively in the early sixties, and then the second, in the last decade of the last century. The first collection, "Palabra e imagen", became a reference in the construction of a field called a photobook, with conceptual works involving already recognized writers and young artists/photographers. The second collection, "lo mínimo", offers a differentiated proposal of small books, such as pocket books, saving words and images, that is, a proposal of synthesis, with the presence of some recognized artists and others at the beginning of their careers.
