Abstract

The social and economic transformations caused in urban and rural environments have gained greater repercussion due to the accelerated modifications of the landscapes. In this sense, the relief stands out because it is the surface where life is possible, allowing interaction between the dynamics of nature and society. In it occurs the morphodynamic processes (historical time) and morphogenetic processes (geological time), responsible for the formation of relief. Nowadays, the dynamics of society are visible if they interpenetrate and / or stand out in the dynamics of nature, such environmental issues assume importance in several fields of knowledge, especially in geographic science. In this aspect, this work aims to study the morphodynamics of the relief of the south-central sector of the municipality of Mirante do Paranapanema - SP related to linear erosive processors. For the elaboration of the cartographic document, it is necessary through the use of geotechnologies, to interrelate the natural elements (geomorphology, curvature of the slopes, clinography, soils and vegetation cover) and social (land use). The mapping of environmental vulnerability to linear erosive processes will help as a tool in the spatialization of geomorphological phenomena and in the deepening of studies on the erosion theme in the Pontal do Paranapanema-SP (AU)
