Due to the detection of gravitational waves from the coalescenceof neutron stars, new possibilities for the study of these objects appeared. Not only by the analysis of gravitational waves which already provide limits for mass, radius and stiffness, but also from the study of its luminous counterpart, which carries information about the nucleo synthesis of heavy elements such as gold and lanthanides.The goal of this project is to study, theoretically and observationally, the nucleo synthesis in these events. In the theoretical part will be studied the hadronization in the jets emitted during the collision, taking as hypothesis strange stars models. The observational part will consist of the analysis of the photo and spectrometric data of kilonovas once they are detected gravitationally. It will be possible thanks to the participation of the members of this project in the DesGW group, which calls for hours of observation in the largest optical observatories available, such as Gemini, Blanco and SOAR.
