Abstract The use of alternative strategies that promote improvements in animal production, especially management that associate sustainability with profitability, should be given priority. Thus, the use of growth-promoting and nitrogen-fixing bacteria in forage grasses may be an important management alternative in the present day for improved pasture production and, consequently, animal production. With the objective of evaluating the nutrition, development, bromatological composition and production of Panicum maximum cv. BRS Zuri submitted to inoculation with associative diazotrophic bacteria in Argisol. The experiment will be conducted under field conditions, in Araçatuba-SP. The experiment was carried out in a randomized block design consisting of eleven treatments and four replicates. The composition of the AB-V5 and AB-V6 strains of Azospirillum brasilense, Pseudomonas fluorescens CNPSo 2719 and the composition of Azospirillum brasilense AB-V6 and Rhizobium tropici CIAT 899, control (without nitrogen (N) and without inoculation), with complete fertilization and without inoculant, combination of N plus inoculation with strains and the combination of N plus inoculation associated with re- inoculation in the aerial part with each cut. Each plot will consist of 12 m2, totaling 44 plots. The variables to be analyzed will be plant height, number of tillers, forage dry mass, chlorophyll content, leaf / stem ratio, shoot / root ratio, dry root mass, macro and micronutrient contents, and PB. The multidisciplinary work should allow to observe that the efficiency of forage production with high nutritional quality and a good pasture management is fundamental to guarantee the animal production, as well as pasture persistence and the mitigation of greenhouse gases. | |
