Abstract

This research project presents the proposal of a methodology for the development of SHMs for mechanical structures based on Intelligent Computing (CI) techniques, the negative selection algorithm to perform the analysis and monitoring of the structural integrity in an impedance tube. From the acquisition and processing of the signals obtained through a laboratory experiment, the negative selection algorithm (artificial immune systems) will be applied in the decision making process to characterize the experimental curves with the theoretical curve of the impedance tube.
