Abstract

Home visitation is a practice related with contributions to health, including maternal and child attention. The aim of the present study is to explore perceptions and expectations of high-risk pregnant women about home visits as part of their prenatal care. It's a qualitative research nurtured by the references of Symbolic Interactionism and Content Analysis. It is proposed semistructured interviews with high-risk pregnant women part of a home visiting program, captured in a public service in the interior of São Paulo State. The study integrates a larger project already approved by the Research Ethics Committee with Human Beings and that will be executed during the year of 2018. The results has potentiality to collaborate with the prenatal care in the context of high risk pregnancy.
