Abstract

This project proposes to discuss the understanding of Literature that we have, from what is possible to extract through the moment of comprehension and reading. Based on the theories of Candido, Eco and Hegel - with a different proportion for each author - we would like to put the experience given by literature and reading in another dimension, with a base in the insoluble trinomial - author, reader and text - to think about this textual and narrative construction that is so singular. Therefore, we will try to analyze and evaluate the phenomenon of Literature considering the structure of each fantastic tale, with its own resources and intrinsic elements of style, and also concerning the external elements which compose the texts. So, this project proposes an analysis which dialectically perceives the literary system of A. Candido. We refer here to a dialectics related to the constructive layers of the text, in through the author would represent a thesis, the reader would represent an antithesis, and the synthesis would be the comprehension created by all this dynamic interaction. Our main question is how we could systematize a fantastic tale analysis, more specifically from the Contemporary Latin America Literature, in the universe of the dialectic proposal which is immanent to the relation between author and reader.
