Abstract This project consists in some analytical and numerical studies on the so-called Robinson-Trautman spacetimes, which are vacuum non-stationary solutions of the Einstein equations corresponding to compact bodies surrounded by gravitational waves. From Robinson-Trautman spacetimes, one can access the non-linear regime of gravitational waves, a extremely relevant topic nowadays. (AU) | |
