Abstract

This scientific initiation project aims at investigating and analyzing school team perceptions about the Humans Rights - HR. The elicitation of such perceptions is relevant to the comprehension of whether and how a specific school team acknowledges the HR regarding conflict mediation. Thus, the premise is that conflict mediations which comprise the HR are essential. The methodological approach is qualitative, exploratory, composed of documental analysis and semi structured interviews. The documental procedure will tackle official documents which regulate the work about and with HR at Brazilian basic education schools. The interviews will be carried out with school team members: principal, coordinator, and teachers. The intention is, through the obtained results, to contribute to the discussion about the importance of a HR based education in a twofold way: routine conflict mediations, and whole student development, in an informed and critical perspective.
