Abstract

This research aims to reflect and discuss the possible resonance of divorce of parents in the love experience of their children, in relation with young university students. Based on the historical, cultural and social transformations that influenced the family's settings, and considering that divorce has become more frequent nowadays, it is intend to understand if and how the experience of separation can be associated by the children of divorced parents with the mode to relate lovingly to their partners. This is a qualitative research, which will use the interview as an instrument of data collection. Six university students, men and women, aged between 18 and 26, will be interviewed, trying to understand how and if the separation of parents can interfere in their choices of love. It is hoped that this research will bring contributions to the discussions and reflections on current love bonds as well as studies on the experience of love relationships in youth.
