Abstract

The multipurpose worker has the ability to perform different tasks in their work context. This is present in the different types of professions, being that in operational sectors it is fundamental piece for the accomplishment of rolls of stations. The objective of this study is to identify and analyze the differences in skills and competences between polyvalent and non-polyvalent in the slaughtering sector of a refrigerator in the state of São Paulo. The aim is to use ergonomic knowledge of the activity with on-site observations, semi-structured interviews and use of tools such as Actogram-Kronos and Kinovea to understand how multivalent workers perform their activities in comparison with non-polyvalent workers. This study can be classified as quantitative-qualitative descriptive.
