Abstract

The black carbon is the reference for the generation of H2O2 from the electrochemical reduction of O2, this material does not have high cost per kilo but the companies in Brazil supply this material in large volumes which makes it impossible to buy it for use in a research laboratory. In this sense, the present project aims to evaluate the thermal synthesis of the active carbon used in the process of calcination of the residue generated in the brewing and the material resulting from this process must be evaluated electrochemically for the generation of H2O2 in acidic medium.
