Abstract

The following Scientific Research aims to analyze the challenges of the educational area in the city of Campinas in relation to the advent of the growing requests for refuge by Syrian families who bring their children with them. To this end, a mapping will be carried out with educators, students and their Syrian families, managers of public schools, leaders of non-governmental organizations and other agents, in order to investigate the consequences of the application or lack of application of national and international policies for children arriving in Brazil with a great need for protection. Together with the analysis of laws, the research seeks to understand the main demands and adversities faced in this new reality that is imposed in the current scenario in the city of Campinas.
