Abstract

The technological advance in the industrial and scientific sector has directly impacted on the increase of the demand of quantum and thermopiles sensors, in collaboration with data logger devices. This resulted in an increase in studies related to the generation, transmission and final distribution of energy. Duly structured sets of measures can be interpreted by public agencies and academic entities to support the planning and management of renewable resources in Brazil. It has great importance in several areas, such as: biology, agriculture and meteorology. During the process of acquisition of suspicious solar measurements may exist due to instrumental difficulties and negligence in the monitoring environment. Thus, the objective of this research project is to develop and validate a methodology for quality control of global (IG), diffuse (ID) and direct (IB) irradiance measurements in horizontal and direct surfaces in normal incidence (IBN) in temporal resolution (scale) sub-hours (averages of 5 minutes). The methodology will be composed by two stages, the first one will verify the physically possible lower and upper limits determined in the literature, and the second will determine the maximum and minimum values that the measures can reach according to a statistical range depending on the different types of coverage of the sky. Validation measures will be provided by the Laboratory of Solar Radiometry of the Faculty of Agronomic Sciences (UNESP) of Botucatu. All preprocessing, processing, management and manipulation of measurements will be performed through R software in collaboration with Apache Spark database technology.
