This research aims to elaborate a broad and circumscribed lifting of the history of architecture books published in Brazil of the 20th century. It is not only about to organize these books lifting, but also to compose a referential base with technical information that can be used by researchers of architecture history, graphic design and graphic printing techniques with an organized and systematized way. In this sense, authors, publishers, institutions, cultural and publishing actions should also be highlighted, contributing to a better comprehension of the printing culture of the 20th century. Finally, from this systematization, it is intended to identify a little group of books, questioning iconography's place at discursive changes in the architecture history.
