Abstract With the growing demand for kidney transplants in recent years, the borderline acceptance criteria for the donor have been expanded. However, although this movement is positive insofar as it meets a higher demand, the possible consequence is the delayed graft function, acute renal injury characterized by ischemia-reperfusion injury. In Brazil, the prevalence of this injury is high (about sixty percent), which is also due to the poor management of the organ to be transplanted. Thus, the objective of this work is to contribute to a better quality of life and survival of patients who undergo this procedure, in order to offer a predictive analysis about the best alternatives, whereas the situation showed in the Clinice Hospital of Botucatu, taking into account the specificity of each patient. | |
