Abstract The objective of this project is to permit the obtaining of high precision measurements of the electrical resistance of individual magnetic nanostructures. By varying the applied magnetic field, and thus the magnetic organization, we can reach the magneto-transport properties of the nanostructure. The knowledge and characterization of this behavior is fundamental for the later use of the nanostructures fabricated and studied in the Laboratory of Materials and Low Temperatures (LMBT), located at the Institute of Physics Gleb Wataghin (IFGW) in UNICAMP. Being mainly nanowires, the compositions are chosen to obtain promising properties for spintronic devices. In this context, a new homemade equipment of magneto-electrical measurements will be mounted to replace the one currently used. Taking advantage of devices of better precision and sensitivity, it will allow to facilitate the obtaining of curves of good quality, essential to compete in the world-wide scene. | |
