Abstract

The objectives of the project are divided in two phases. In the first phase, we intend to determine which stellar types are more suitable for studies towards detecting potentially habitable planets, considering the equipment we have available today and in the near future. Based on these results, in a second phase we will select stars with those characteristics, and analyses some of those sample stars in order to learn the determination of stellar parameters through the spectroscopic method.
