Abstract

Sándor Ferenczi was an important psychoanalyst, his works have brought several contributions to psychoanalytic theory and practice. Ferenczi's writings have anticipated both the understanding and the ways of coping with pathologies increasingly present in our days. Hence, this research aims to comprehend Sándor Ferenczi's influences on contemporary psychoanalytic clinic reflections and discussions concerning the role of the psychoanalytic psychotherapist. In order to that, we will do a literature review in P@rthenon database using the keywords: Ferenczi; Psychoanalytic Theory, and we will use content analysis to prepare our final report. We believe that our research can contribute to the investigation of Ferenczi's works, as well as to the recovery and analysis of recently published articles, both national and international. Thus, we can reflect on the ethical standing of the psychoanalytic psychotherapist's role in contemporary psychoanalytic clinic. (AU)
