Abstract

This project proposes a critical integrative review of the scientific productions that include the term "Self-as-context", a middle-level term (that was not originated on basic research) from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, a behavioral therapy proposed by Steven Hayes. The different uses of the term will be categorized and the basic processes involved in each of the phenomena will then be detailed according to the radical behaviorist model. Lastly, proposals for the use of this term and others associated will be formulated, with the goal of promoting their precision, scope and depth. (AU)
