Abstract

The main appeal of this project is to increase the safety of air navigation by developing graphene derivative composites in metalloporphyrin paints, which will be used as sensory materials. Polymeric materials have unique characteristics that enable numerous applications. However, there are limitations to the use of these materials, such as the fact that most of them are insulating, making it difficult to use in sensors. In order to extend the use of UniFIB® UF: 400-470 metalloporphyrinic paint, which is pressure sensitive and used in aerodynamic studies, it is proposed to add a graphene derivative to generate an electrical signal motivated by the change in conduction due to Oxygen adsorption / desorption at platinum sites that exist in platinofluoroporphyrinic molecules of the ink. Thus, the obtained composite can be used in redundant aerospace systems. Graphene and its derivatives are in evidence in many areas, and are able to assist in mechanical, optical and electrical properties of composites. Thus, the graphene derivatives obtained by the Hummers Method and by Electrochemical Graphite Exfoliation will be studied in order to produce homogeneous and satisfactorily conductive composites.
